Total Yards Under Review

 

As Phillip Rivers and the rest of the San Diego Chargers will tell you, ranking first in total yards on offense and defense doesn't mean a whole lot. The Chargers finished the season in second place in the AFC West with a 9-7 record and missed the playoffs. Here is a look at why total yards are overrated.

I have rated each running back, wide receiver and tight end from the 2010 regular season that meets the requirements. I have also included my unique formula for measuring the offensive line and defensive front seven.
